Crystal Bridges Museum of Art held their first Scholastic Region Art Award ceremony Sunday, where three Haas Hall Rogers scholars were among those recognized.
Those scholars were Brighton Sorey, Noelle Bechet, and Gerardo Oria, and the ceremony was held in the Great Hall followed by a reception.
HHA art instructor Jeri Dockery said, “I am so proud of these scholars because they were up against several thousand students. I think twenty-four students received the Gold Key.”
Sorey’s (Gold Key) artwork is on display in the lower level, and Bechet and Oria’s (Honorable Mention) artwork is on video slideshow until May 9 at Crystal Bridges.
